REPRODUCTION (limited time)! 1:18 Scale. Limited Edition from KK Scale. This item is SEALED (no opening parts). The E38 is considered by many to be the best 7 series ever. Introduced in 1994, it remained in production until 2001, with a rich combination of engines, as is customary in the BMW ranges. Like the previous model, the E38 was also produced in an elongated version (750iL). The 740i version, in production since 1994, initially had the 3982cc 8-cylinder M60B40 type engine, which was replaced in 1996 by the M62B44 type (4398cc). Starting from 1998, the M62TUB44 type was introduced, with the same characteristics as the previous one but with the VANOS variable distribution system. The 740i went out of production in 2001.
